Here I go.....

I've never claimed to be a Pulitzer winner, but I've decided to try my hand at keeping those of you who read this intrigued. I'm new to the blogging thing, but I feel my adventures will speak for themselves. On wed. Jan 16, I leave San Antonio to embark on the adventure of a lifetime. I am heading to New Zealand in search of a lifestyle outside of America's norm. I hope to find a way of living far from the stresses of time and money that inhibit our lives daily here in the free world. All I'll have are the essentials that fit in my pack and the good Lord to guide my way. I have no clue what my adventure may bring, but I know that whatever comes will be exciting. I don't know how often I'll be able to write, but I'll do my best to allow each of you to live vicariously through me while I'm away. If I can figure it out I'll also post pictures so you can adore the beauties of New Zealand with me.
